Ikram Rehman (Managing Director)

Mr Rahman is a banker by profession who is an ardent and passionate learner. He has strong, powerful, compelling feeling to acquire knowledge and pass on the same to next generation. He strongly believes in seeking truth on the basis of sound and rational knowledge. He has over 17 years of experience in Islamic Banking and 22 years of overall experience in Finance. He is currently the Head of Shariah Structuring & Coordination- Wholesale Banking Group- Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. He holds MBA (Banking & Finance) and LLM degree (International Business) from Preston and Paris Sorbonne University, Abu Dhabi respectively. He has delivered many lectures at various national and international conferences/seminars/webinars. He is also a co-author of a book titled, ‘Islamic Banking & Finance: Principles and Practices’.

Najmul Huda Sani (Executive Director)

Mr Sani holds degrees in History and Comparative Religion from Jamia Millia Islamia. His engagement with literature, social movements, educational practices and child psychology has enabled him to counsel and mentor youngsters across gender and socio-economic strata. A voracious reader, he has published papers in national and international newspapers and journals.

He passionately believes that schools are the fulcrum of any meaningful and lasting social change. India will be better off with more and more centres of excellence with equal emphasis on character building and affirmative patriotism. A votary of holistic education with an eye on all-round development of child, he believes in and practices multi-faceted pedagogical approach inside and outside the classroom. Over the years, he has worked as an instructor, resource person and school manager. He believes in team work and has successfully led various academic, social and educational projects.

Dr. Saman Ahmed (Director- Strategic Planning)

Dr Ahmed is an activist and researcher in the field of Gender and Economics. She firmly believes that education is the only solution to various social and economic problems. She is an advocate of women rights and girl child education. She works extensively for the promotion of women artisans and entrepreneurs in the craft sector. Apart from academics, she is actively engaged with several NGOs and research organizations. Previously she worked as a Research Associate in the department of Social Work, Jamia Millia Islamia. During her tenure as UGC Post-Doctoral Fellow at Sarojini Naidu Centre for Women’s Studies, JMI, she also had the opportunity to serve as Resident Warden at Begum Hazrat Mahal Girls’ Hostel at Jamia Millia Islamia. She has several research publications in peer reviewed journals and edited books to her credit. She completed her Masters in Economics and Ph.D in Women’s Studies from Aligarh Muslim University.

Talha Hussain (Director- Educational Management)

Mr. Hussain is a Physics Graduate with full of zeal and enthusiasm. He loves to interact with children and engage in activities with young minds. He is passionate about teaching, learning and loves to take his own initiatives. Mr. Husain believes in future-proofing education while making it relevant, effective and vibrant for the times that are changing. He has formerly been the coaching director S T S (STEP TO SUCCESS CLASSES) Malmal, Madhubani,Bihar.Over the years, he has worked in various capacities in the field of education and management.
